28 October 2011, Beijing - Yang Shu'an, Vice Minister in charge of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) and Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC), met with Hilary Krane, Vice President and General Counsel and Corporate Affairs of Nike, Inc., in Beijing on 27 Oct. 2011.

Yang welcomed the guests on behalf of both the GASC and COC, noting that Nike, Inc. has maintained good relations with China sports for many years. He expressed his thanks for the positive role the company has played and the support it has given to China's sports development, and hoped the two sides would continue to work closely to help further promote the development of China's sports as well as its sports industry.

During the meeting, Yang also briefed the guests about the recent sports development in China. The two exchanged views on their future cooperation, particularly on that in the fields of youth sports and sport for all.

Present at the meeting was Song Luzeng, Director of the GASC External Affairs Department.
