2 December 2011 - Phankham Viphavanh, Minister of Education and Sports of the Lao People's Democratic Reopublic, met with the visiting Chinese Sports Minister and COC President Liu Peng in Vientiane on 1 December 2011.

At the invitation of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, Liu Peng and other member of the Chinese sports delegation arrived in the Lao capital on 1 December.
