YANGON, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese gymnastic professional, Yan Yunying, is giving training to Myanmar trainees at Myanmar Gymnastic Camp here aimed at developing gymnastic sports in the country and securing gold medals in the 27th SEA Games to be hosted in the country, according to the sport circle said Saturday.

The training has been conducted since Dec.19, 2011 and it will run until Jan.11, 2012, the sources said.

Yan Yunying is training 17 coaches of Ministry of Sports, Myanmar Gymnastics Federation and also students from Yangon Region by applying modern techniques.

A plan is underway to give talks on techniques and rules in international competitions with female and male gymnastic referees of the federation and to designate grades of the athletes.
