12 April 2012, Beijing - At the invitation of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport of the Netherlands and the Luxembourg Olympic Committee and Sport, China's Minister in charge of the General Administration of Sport Liu Peng will head a Chinese delegation to visit Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands and Luxembourg on 12-23 April 2012.

During the period the Chinese Sports Minister will attend the 18th ANOC General Assembly and Second World Olympic Sport Convention held in Moscow. While meeting with sports leaders of these countries, he will have discussions with them about bilateral sports cooperation and exchange views with them on issues of common interest.

The 18th ANOC General Assembly will be held on 13-15 April 2012, which will also be attended by President Jacques Rogge of the International Olympic Committee and Russian Federation Prime Minister and President-elect Vladimir Putin, followed by the 2nd World Olympic Sport Convention on 16-17 April 2012.
