Chinese pair cruise into second round tennis at Universiade

  IZMIR, Turkey, Aug. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese duo Chen Yan and Liu Weijuan cruised into the second round in the women¨s doubles of the tennis tournament at the 23rd Universiade here on Sunday.
  
  Chen and Liu, both from Guangdong Sports Institute of Science and Technology, pipped Finnish Michaela Bjornstrom/Veera Nurmi 6-0, 6-4 in the first round, keeping the hope alive for the Chinese tennis team to move further at the Universiade.
  
  On Saturday, two Chinese women singles players Hao Jie and Huang Lei, were ousted in the first round by Evane Graziani and Australian Lauren Breadmore. Chinese tennis team fielded in only four women players for the Universiade.
