(BEIJING, November 1) -- The Beijing Capital Airport division of the Public Security Bureau conducted on Wednesday the largest scale Olympic security policing skills exercise yet.

"There's an emergency on the airport ramp, move!" began the exercise. The traffic police and 110 policemen arrived at the scene immediately to evacuate people. The whole process took only 2 minutes.

In an exercise dealing with suspected explosions, the Olympic Torch Relay was simulated. An advanced explosive detector is able to analyze the remnants of the explosion.

A robot was also used to destroy the explosives. According to the police, the robot is equipped with a caterpillar tread, which enables it to climb 45-degree slopes and deal with various kinds of complicated roads.

According to the police officer, the police station has formulated a set of Olympic security plans and will exercise the plan in different rounds.
