(BEIJING, March 21) -- This morning, Executive Vice-President of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) Yang Shu’an met with visiting team of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) led by Vice-President Issa Hayatou.

Following Yang’s briefing on the progress of the Olympic preparatory work in general, the guests heard reports on preparations for Olympic football competitions by representatives of co-hosts Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang and Qinhuangdao, and representatives of BOCOG venue planning and construction department and media operations department respectively.

The FIFA team will hold talks with BOCOG security and Games service departments and conduct site tour of the Workers’ Stadium and the National Stadium which is under construction.
