SHENZHEN, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Tang Qianting bettered the Asian record again as she won the women's 100m breaststroke in China's National Championships here on Sunday.

The 20-year-old Tang dominated the pool to win the race in 1:04.39, 0.29 seconds faster than the record she set in the semifinals one day ago.

"There will be three or four months before the Paris Olympics so I believe I can do better," Tang said.

"At the moment, I don't think I have a ceiling. I think as long as there is enough confidence, I will make progress step by step, there will be no limit," Tang noted.

In the men's 100m backstroke final, Xu Jiayu won gold in 52.39 seconds, which was more than one second ahead of Wang Shun, with Wang Gukailai taking the bronze.

The men's 200m freestyle final saw an intense battle. Pan Zhanle clocked 1:45.68 to win the race, Ji Xinjie was only 0.18 seconds behind, and Zhang Zhanshuo came third.

In the women's 400m medley final, Yu Yiting won in 4:39.60, while Yu Zidi and Qu Jianing took the silver and bronze respectively.
