September 17, 2009 - In a press conference call held on September 17 in the lead-up to WADA’s Executive Committee Meeting, WADA’s President John Fahey reported that the Agency has received 99.3% of government contributions to its 2009 budget. With the International Olympic Committee matching governments’ contributions dollar for dollar, this means that for the second year in a row, WADA will most probably receive 100% of its budget.

In addition, WADA’s President addressed various current issues including whereabouts requirements, out-of-competition testing and the Athlete Passport Program.
