JINAN, East China, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Guo Linna from Henan rowing team was tested positive for banned substance at the 11th National Games, it was announced Sunday.
According to Zhao Jian, an official from the Anti-Doping Commission of the Chinese Olympic Committee, the woman rower was found positive for 19-norandrostenedione in A sample.
Zhao said that Guo Linna, who was scheduled to take part in women's lightweight double sculls and quadruple sculls without cox at the national meet, was tested on Oct. 12.
Guo is the first case of the kind in the on-going games.
