China reports second doping case at National Games

JINAN, East China, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- China reported the second doping case Thursday at the 11th National Games as a female shooter, Li Jie, from Inner Mongolia, was found to take quietive to help stay calm in the competition.

The incident came only five days after a rower from Henan, Guo Linna, tested positive for the steroid 19-norandrostenedione.

"Li's shooting results have been stripped of," the deputy head of the competition committee, Sun Yuanfu, told a press conference.

Li won the fourth in women's 10-meter air pistol shooting and 49th in the 25-meter sport pistol shooting at the Games.
