HAVANA, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Jamaican media reported that Olympic and world women's 100 meters champion Shelly-Ann Fraser has tested positive for a non-performance enhancing drug.

Bruce James, president of Fraser's MVP Track Club, told the Nationwide News Network radio station Thursday that Fraser used Oxycodone, a painkiller, following a dental procedure in May.

He said that Fraser will exit from all athletic competition until a hearing of the Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association can be held.

The Jamaica Gleaner newspaper quoted James as saying that Fraser got the pain-relieving medication for a toothache from meet organizers in Shanghai on May 23, but did not declare this on her drug testing form before competing.
