WADA-Funded Researchers Achieve Gene Doping Breakthroughs

September 2, 2010 - This week, two separate groups of scientists announced breakthroughs in the development of gene doping detection methods. WADA contributed to these research projects by funding them as part of its Research Grant Program.

Researchers at the University of Tübingen, Germany, and at the Universities of Florida, USA, and Nantes, France, have developed detection means for gene doping based on the blood matrix.
