LONDON, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Anyone who is caught doping at the London 2012 Olympic Games must be really stupid according to the Chairman of the British Olympic Association, Colin Moynihan.

Moynihan was speaking at a press conference at the media center in the Olympic Park when he gave his opinion on the possibility of any athlete giving a positive drug test at the Games.

Perhaps the most famous positive test of all time came in the 1988 Olympics when 100 meters Ben Johnson was found to have cheated, Moynihan said that anyone repeating that in the forthcoming Olympics would have to be more than just foolish.

"If you get caught at the Games then you have to be the dopiest of dopers: If you take, for example, three weeks before a Games knowing there is going to be widespread testing, then you have got to have a brick loose," he said.

However, although he believes there may be unlikely many athletes test positive during the Olympics, that doesn' t mean he believes all of the competitors will be clean.

"Anyone who has gone out of their way to cheat at these Games is likely to have done so a long time ago and to have used masking agents or to have got it completely out of their system. You really have to be really foolish to get caught for doping during the Games," commented Moynihan who added that the current two-year ban for a first serious drugs offence needed to be toughened.

"I think a two-year ban without missing a Games for a serious drugs offence is not a place where the world of sport should be at all. It is wrong and it must be changed," he said.
