October 29, 2013 - WADA is pleased to showcase the successful WADA-IPC Say NO! to Doping Day partnership at the IPC Swimming World Championships in August..
The Say NO! to Doping Day took place on August 13, 2013 in Montreal, Canada, and involved some of the world’s leading para-swimmers joining in the call for doping-free sport.
The concept is a strong example of how Anti-Doping Organizations (ADOs) can use WADA’s Outreach Model to showcase their commitment to anti-doping in an original and engaging way.
The video presents a model for how stakeholders can use the tools available to them to create an awareness program that touches not only the athletes, but also the athlete entourage, the fans and the media.
IPC’s Anti-Doping Senior Manager Vanessa Webb explains how the IPC and WADA collaborated to get the clean sport message across loud and clear.
