Doping cases at Incheon Asian Games

INCHEON, South Korea, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Following is a list of five positive doping cases announced at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea: 

On Sept. 24
  
Tajik footballer Khurshed Beknazarov, 20, tested positive for methylhexaneamine after playing the opening group match against Singapore on September 14.  

On Sept. 25
  
Cambodian soft tennis player Yi Sophany, 18, tested positive for banned stimulant sibutramine on September 16, before the soft tennis competition began.  

On Sept. 30
  
Malaysia's wushu gold medal winner Tai Cheau Xuen, 22, tested positive for sibutramine on September 20, when she won the women's nanquan for Malaysia's first gold medal of the Games.

Iraqi weightlifter Mohammed Jasim Abbood al Aifuri, 33, tested positive for steroids from his urine sample collected on Sept. 14.  

On Oct. 1

Syrian karate athlete Nour Aldin al Kurdi, 19, tested positive for clenbuterol before his competition had even started.
