15 April, 2004 - A 5 member Evaluation Committee from the OCA headed by Mr. Celso Dayrit, the Vice President of OCA and President of the Philippine Olympic Committee left Malaysia for bidding city Guangzhou to inspect the venues and assess the readiness of the city to host the games.
