09 June 2004 - When China's basketball giant Yao Ming, the 148th and last torchbearer of the Athens 2004 Olympic torch relay in Beijing, lit the cauldron in northwest Beijing's Summer Palace at 18:14p.m., the 9-hour, 55.6-kilometre Olympic torch realy was crowned with success in the Chinese capital.
