In order to give publicity to the outstanding achievements of the Chinese Olympic Delegation and spread the Olympic spirit among the Chinese people, a grand public meeting was held at central Beijing's Great Hall of the People on September 14, 2004, with China's Olympic gold medallists telling their personal experiences at the recent Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
