To express their appreciation of the outstanding performance of the Chinese Olympians at the recent Olympic Games in Athens and their wishes to further support the sports undertaking in China, the Hong Kong CITIC-Pacific and the China Interactive Sports Technology Co. Ltd. (CIS) jointly granted a money award totalling 14.84 million yuan to all the Chinese Olympic medallists today. The bonus will be distributed exactly according to the standard set by the Chinese government for the Chinese Olympic delegation, i.e., 200,000 yuan for a gold medal, 120,000 for a silver medal and 80,000 for a bronze medal.
