Xie Yalong was appointed new Director of the China Football Administrative Centre, as announced by the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) on February 17.

    Xie, 49, graduated from Beijing Sport University with a Master's Degree. A former athlete, teacher and public servant, he has in the past years worked with Beijing Sport University, GASC General Office and Sport for All Department, Athletics Administrative Centre, National Research Institute of Sports Science and Sports Information Centre.
