GASC chief Liu Peng calls on Chinese athletes and coaches to support the disaster relife with good preparation for the Beijing Olympic Games.

(Beijing, May 14) This afternoon, Chinese athletes and coaches preparing for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing donated to the earthquake areas in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Attending the donating ceremony were Director of the General Administration of Sport Liu Peng, GASC deputy directors Feng Jianzhong, Xiao Tian, Cui Dalin and Cai Zhenhua, and director-assistant Xiao Min, and some 500 athletes and coaches of the national teams.
