(Beijing, January 20) The 2009 National Conference for Sports Directors opened in Beijing this afternoon, with the participation of some 180 official delegates from sports administrations at different levels across the country.
With the successful hosting of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the remarkable achievements of the Chinese Sports Delegation at these Games, sports leaders from different parts of China have great confidence in further development of China sports in the years to come.
The annual three-day national conference for sports directors, a large-scale working conference on the nation's sports development, will sum up past experience and work out plans for the new year as well as the new Olympic cycle.
