(Beijing, April 4) During the Electoral Congress of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) held in Madrid, Spain on 4 April 2009, Ma Wenguang, president of the Chinese Weight-lifting association, was elected as the general secretary of IWF after the victory over Bulgaridhes Jean-Paul of France with 9 ballots.
