May 13, 2009 - On May 13, the Pictograms and logos of Culture Event, Environment and Volunteer for the 16th Asian Games were unveiled by Xu Ruisheng, Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC), and Zhao Jian, Chief of the Visual Image Expert and Consultant Panel of the 16th Asian Games and Vice President of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

Luo Jingjun, Director of the Games Communication and Promotion Department of GAGOC, briefed reporters on the solicitation of the symbols.
