July 9,2009 - A grand patriotic themed singing party was held in Yuntai Park at the foot of Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou yesterday. Several nationally renowned singers participated in the activity with more than 3,000 local citizens and a group of China central media reporters, who were on a tour in Guangzhou to report on the 16th Asian Games.

The activity is among a series of cultural events to encourage the public to get involved in gearing up for the Asian Games next year.
