(Beijing, September 9) To celebrate Team China's clean sweep of the five gold medals at the recent Badminton World Championships held in Paris, France on August 23-29, 2010, a victory party was held in Beijing on September 8, with the attendance of Li Furong, former Vice-Minister in charge of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC), Liu Fengyan, Director of the GASC Table Tennis and Badminton Administrative Center, Li Yongbo, Head Coach of the Chinese badminton team, together with other coaches and shuttlers from the team.

Prior to this year's world fixture, the Chinese team had achieved the feat only once at the World Championships in Beijing in 1987.
