7 June 2012, Beijing - In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the China-Tajikistan sports exchanges, the Chinese Olympic Committee awarded a COC Medal to Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan and President of the Tajikistan Olympic Committee, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on 6 June 2012.

The Tajik President was in Beijing attending the 12th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Pictures show COC President Liu Peng (R) and the Tajik President at the awarding ceremony. (Photos China Sports Online/An Lingjun)
