2012-08-12 - It's Rio's turn! Rio de Janeiro received this Sunday, with open arms, the Olympic flag during the Closing Ceremony of London 2012 and is officially the Olympic city. For the next four years, the planet will follow day by day the work of Brazil towards 2016, a historical moment that will culminate with the first Olympic Games in South America.
There were eight minutes of a large group hug at the Olympic Stadium in London. The diversity of Brazilian culture was represented by musicians Seu Jorge and Marisa Monte, the rapper BNegão, the trash collector and dancer, symbol of Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Renato Sorriso, and the international model Alessandra Ambrósio.
