13 December 2012 - The press conference for the 2012 SportAccord World Mind Games was held in Beijing on 12 December 2012. The Games, the second edition of its kind, will be jointly organizied by the Board and Card Games Administrative Center of China's General Administration of Sport, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, Beijing Olympic city Development Association and Beijing Media Network.

According to the local Orgazing Committee, more than 150 leading players will represent 39 countries in 8 days of competitions in five mind sports, namely chess, bridge, go, draughts and xiangqi (Chinese chess), on 12-19 December 2012. (Photos China Sports Online/Bai Yu)
