25 July 2013, Beijing - The signing ceremony for China's hosting of the 2014 World Bridge Series Championships in south China's Sanya, Hainan Province in October 2014 was held at the Beijing-based China Qi-Yuan, or the National Board and Card Games Administrative Center, on 24 July 2013.

The World Bridge Series Championships, a quadrennial event organized by the World Bridge Federation (WBF), is held in the year of the Winter Olympics.

Attending the ceremony were Gianarrigo Rona, President of the WBF, Liu Siming and Fan Guangsheng, Director and Deputy Director of the National Board and Card Games Administrative Center, and Xiang Huaicheng, President of the Chinese Bridge Association (CBA). (Photos China Sports Online/Ni Minzhe)
