DALIAN, northeast China, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Peng Shuai made it four golds out of four at the Chinese National Games again when she made short work of her Tianjin teammate Duan Yingying to win the women's singles tennis title in Dalian of Liaoning Province on 30 July.

Peng, who has successfully defended her titles in the team, doubles and mixed doubles events, seemed to be in a different league in the singles final against Duan, although she was exhausted after having played at least two matches per day over the past week.

Prior to the National Games, on 6 July 2013, Peng Shuai and her partner, Hsieh Su-Wei of Chinese Taipei, had won their first career Slam with a surprising run in the women's doubles final of the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in London. With her victory, Peng becomes the fifth Chinese to win a Slam. (Photo Xinhua Pan Yulong unless otherwise specified)

and 1st, while Zheng Jie/Li Yi of Sichuan finish 3rd, in the women's doubles of
the 12th National Games held in Dalian, Liaoning Province on 29 July 2013.
