29 August 2013 - The Main Press Center (MPC) of the 12th National Games opened in northeast China's Shenyang of Liaoning Province on 28 August 2013.

As the base camp for thousands of journalists covering the 2013 National Games, the MPC will provide the sports jouirnalists, photographers and TV broadcasters with comfortable and convenient working conditions during the National Games from 31 Aug. to 12 Sept. 2013.
