10 February 2014 - The China-Russia Year of Youth Exchanges was highlighted by a special activity held at the China House in Sochi's Zhemchuzhina Hotel on 9 February 2014. Both Liu Peng, China's Sports Minister and COC President, and Vitaly Mutko, Sports Minister of Russia, attended the event and delivered speeches.
As Liu Peng put it, the sports exchanges between the two countries in recent years have been highlighted by the China-Russian Youth Games ever since 2006, which serve as a platform for friendly, bilateral sports exchanges between young people in Russia and China. The photo exhibition of these Games held at China House during the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, he added, was a review of all the achievements of sports exchanges made by the two countries.
