16 February 2014 - China's short track speed skater Zhou Yang successfully defended her 1500m Olympic title at the Sochi Winter Games on 15 February 2014.

Before the final lap Zhou managed to overtake South Korea's Shim Suk Hee to take the lead and came in first in 2:19.140, followed by Shim in 2:19.239 and Italian veteran Arianna Fontana in 2:19.416. (Photos China Sports Online/A Min)
