23 April 2014 - The opening ceremony of the 2014 Open Golf Championship of China was held at the Genzon Golf Club in south China's Shenzhen on 22 April 2014, with the presence of two of golf's most recognisable stars, Jason Dufner and Ian Poulter, and three former world table tennis superstars Jan-Ove Waldner, Jorgen Persson and Jiang Jialiang.

The 20th Anniversary Volvo China Open, to be held on 24-27 April, will draw many star players from the European Tour and a number of up-and-coming teenage players from host China. (Photos China Sports Online/Wu Jun)
