15 July 2014 - The Youth Olympic Village for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games opened to the media for the first time on 14 July 2014.
 
Located at the Nanjing Hexi New City along the Binjiang River, the village, spanning more than 140,000 square meters, provides accommodations, catering and all kinds of services for 6,000 athletes, team officials, Young Ambassadors and reporters during the Games.
