15 September 2014 - China proved their hegemony over the 4th AVC Cup for Women after beating the title contender Korea in hard-fought three-set thriller 29-27, 26-24, 25-22 in the final battle at the Indoor Stadium of the Longgang Universiade Sports Centre in Shenzhen on 12 September 2014.
