4 October 2014 - The closing ceremony of the 17th Asian Games was held in Incheon, Korea on the evening of 4 October 2014. 

During the 16-day regional sports gala the Chinese Sports Delegation collected 151 gold, 108 silver and 83 bronze medals to keep their dominance at the Asian Games for the ninth consecutive time, followed by host Korea with 79 golds, 71 silvers and 84 bronzes and Japan with 47 golds, 76 silvers and 77 bronzes respectively.
