28 October 2014 - The 8th China Cup Regatta came into the final matchday at south China's Shenzhen Marine Sports Base at Daya Bay of the South China Sea on 27 October 2014.

In the evening the teams attended the prize-giving and closing ceremonies at the Sheraton Hotel Dameisha. The 103 teams from nations all around the world will look back on four days of tough competition and start their plans for returning to the 9th edition of the China Cup International Regatta in October 2015.
