9 December 2014 - The 2nd Shenzhen International Marathon concluded on 7 December 2014 in Shenzhen, southern China's Guangdong Province with Ethiopian Solomon Tsige Asfaw finishing first in 2:16:21.

Solomon Tsige Asfaw's compatriot Abera Ertiban Temesegen grabbed the silver medal in 2:16:22, and Ejigu Ebisa merga third in 2:16:27.
