30 December 2014, Beijing - The 2015 National Sports Bureau Director Conference was held at the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) on December 29. At the conference, Liu Peng, director of GASC, delivered a work report. The conference summarized the national sports work in 2014, deployed and envisaged the sports work in 2015 when the sports reform will be deepened comprehensively.

In the two-day conference, the attendees had panel discussions about the conference theme and Liu's work report, and Yang made a summary. Hot on the heels of the conference were an annual award ceremony, the Plenary Meeting of the Chinese Olympic Committee and the 2nd Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 9th Committee of the All-China Sports Federation.
