25 Jul 2011, Kuwait: Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, an Olympic Day Fun Run will be held in Kuwait on Thursday, July 28. The run will be open to all ages, male and female, and is being organised jointly by the Kuwait Athletics Federation in cooperation with the Kuwait Olympic Committee.

The Olympic Day Run will be held in the spirit of the Olympic Movement with the goal to promote peace and friendship.
