24 Jul 2013, Tashkent, Uzbekistan: To celebrate Olympic Day, the Uzbek NOC organised an excursion to the Museum of Olympic Glory in Tashkent. More than 100 youngsters thus had the chance to learn about the history of the Olympic Games, the development of the Olympic Movement in Uzbekistan and other countries and the performances of Uzbek athletes. A quiz was also held.

The NOC invited eight Olympic medallists spanning the period from the 1964 Games in Tokyo to the 2012 Games in London to talk about their experiences and emotions, and the importance of sport and the Olympic values in their lives.
