SINGAPORE, March 2 (Xinhua) -- A total of 3,818 people set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records on Sunday morning for the most number of people doing Taiji.
They beat the previous record set in 2012, when some 2,500 people came together for Taiji.
Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong joined the event.
Taiji courses are available at most community clubs across the island. The People's Association said it is seeing an increasing number of younger Singaporeans take up the sport.
