About

Pearl ball is a traditional Manchu sport that is also called Ti He (pearl-kicking), Cai He (pearl-picking) and Reng He (pearl-tossing). In Manchu "He" means pearl. The Manchu regard pearls as the symbol of brightness and happiness. Picking pearls is an important traditional production activity for them.
